The project has an annual passenger capacity of 25 million, which was implemented after the competition and the winner of the architectural competition is Hazan Architecture.

The project, which has one of the largest domestic terminals in Turkey, was built on the main design idea of the "Open Spaces". The architects of this special project Master Architect Yakup HAZAN and Architect Tolga HAZAN created solutions that eliminate borders in the project. Collaborated with ASPEN on the interior solutions of the building's preferred ASPEN [Integra] Metal Suspended Ceiling Systems. All obstacles that cut the connection with the sky were removed to eliminate the borders separating the indoor and outdoor spaces at the airport for realizing the main design idea ''Open Spaces''. In the project, where a holistic top cover was created with the space cage system, the elephant feet carrying the upper shell created eye-catching spaces. It was desired to maintain the structural integrity in the transition zone between domestic and international lines and used a space cage, which is a steel carrier system, in the transition area. ASPEN [Integra] Special Solutions Series was preferred for the top cover with concave geometry.
