the atmosphere of an environment and influence how a space is perceived and
experienced. In this sense, art and architecture emerge as two distinct design

The aim of this approach is not to transfer a painting directly onto a surface,
but to reinterpret it on a different scale while preserving the spirit,
geometry, and character of the original work. In this way, a natural connection
is established between art and architecture, allowing each space to begin
telling its own unique story.
Inspired by a Work of Art
At ASPEN DENDRO, we bring these two languages together by drawing
inspiration from the works of different artists. We select a distinctive form,
a recurring pattern, or a striking geometric composition from a painting and
reinterpret it through the natural texture of wood.
The aim is not to reproduce the artwork directly on the floor, but to create
a new design language that preserves its character and the feeling it evokes.
In this way, a detail found within a work of art can come to life again at a
different scale and through a different material.
A Story That Begins from the
Floor
Although we may not always consciously notice its impact when entering a
space, the floor is one of the most important surfaces contributing to the
overall character of an environment. In DENDRO’s parquet designs inspired by
works of art, the floor goes beyond being a complementary element and becomes
part of the story of the space.
When the natural texture of wood meets the unique language of art, the
result is more than just parquet—it becomes a design element that gives the
space its own character. Because, for us, good design is not only about looking
