ASPEN Art Community took art enthusiasts on an unforgettable journey through Istanbul’s rich 2025 autumn art calendar. The program featured a series of exclusive gatherings held within the city’s leading cultural events, including Contemporary Istanbul, the Istanbul Biennial, the Akbank Jazz Festival, and the IKSV Theatre Festival, offering participants unique and immersive experiences.
The 20th edition of Contemporary Istanbul marked the beginning of the series with a special guided tour led by Prof. Marcus Graf. Participants explored the evolving directions of contemporary art within the impressive setting of Tersane Istanbul, and the evening concluded with a delightful cocktail reception that transformed the visit into a memorable artistic encounter.
The Istanbul Biennial tours held in October offered participants the opportunity to explore the biennial’s multilayered world through special Beyoğlu and Karaköy routes, guided by the İKSV team. Along these paths where art spilled into the streets, participants experienced the stories behind each work firsthand.
As part of the Akbank Jazz Festival, world-renowned artist Eliane Elias took the stage at Zorlu PSM, captivating the audience with the rhythm of jazz. This special evening, where music intertwined with the spirit of the city, offered an inspiring experience for the members of ASPEN Art Community.
Finally, the Scapino Ballet performance, presented as part of the İKSV Theatre Festival, brought the creativity and energy of contemporary dance to the stage. Participants engaged with different artistic disciplines during this exclusive event that extended behind the scenes of the festival.
